Supporting Those Who Serve, Their Families And Veterans

Who Qualifies?

Clients who qualify for JR4OT Military Family Services:

  • Families of deployed Active Duty

  • Families of deployed Activated Reserves

  • Families of deployed Activated National Guard

  • All clients must…

  • Possess a valid military ID

  • Be in measurable need and document circumstances

If JR4OT is unable to assist a military family, then the case will be referred to other organizations that can provide the appropriate services and assistance.

Most families needing assistance usually contact their local Family Support Group or their local military installation.  However, not all families have access to a local FSG due to residing in remote areas or outside the realm of a military community.  We encourage those families to contact us here by email, family@jr4ot.org.

The Process

Here’s how JR4OT would handle a typical case:

  1. JR4OT receives a message from a young family who, in addition to the emotional stress of deployment, does not have the experience, knowledge or resources to handle a crisis that normally occurs in military life.
  2. We will work with local media, other organizations and our web site to request specific assistance and then coordinate those services with the family.

Grass-roots Care

JR4OT works on a grass-roots level to care for families of deployed service members.  Projects may focus on helping a specific family in crisis, or a broader effort to boost morale through programs like drives for Easter Baskets, Back-to-School Supplies, and Holiday Help Programs.
